Upcoming Performances: This coming Spring, Ms. Gardner will be performing at the Humana Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, in the brand new play "MICHAEL VON SIEBENBURG MELTS THROUGH THE FLOORBOARDS." Play written by Greg Kotis, directed by Kip Fagan. Show dates are March 22nd through April 15th in the Pamela Brown Auditorium.
Rita will be appearing in an upcoming episode of 30 Rock airing on February 14th, 2012 on NBC. Be sure to check it out!
Ms. Gardner will also be performing her one-woman show and teaching master classes in universities around the country this year.

Rita recently appeared in an episode of Law & Order: SVU and just completed the movie "Tiger Lily Road," which will be released in the fall.
In September of 2011 Ms. Gardner performed her original one-woman show- "Try to Remember: A Look Back At Off-Broadway"-
at The Metropolitan Room in Manhattan.

In June of 2010 Rita read a major
role in a new play - LENI - based on the life of a
famous - or rather, infamous - film director during the reign of Hitler. The show was presented for one night only at the Player's Theatre on MacDougal Street, with the hope that it might go Off-Broadway.
In April of 2010 Rita performed in a reading of the new Broadway musical "Queen of the Stardust Ballroom", starring Tyne Daly, which is slated to open in the Spring of 2011. Rita was also featured in a series of short films for RIPFEST.
In October of 2009 Rita performed in the brand-new musical "Hurricane" as part of the NY Music Theatre Festival. From July 31st through August 9th, Rita sang and taught at the Cabaret Conference at Yale University. On May 4th, 2009 Rita performed a medley
from the Fantasticks at the Jerry Orbach Theatre to kick off the 50th anniversary of the opening of
the show. Rita had an outstanding experience singing and teaching master classes at the INGE Festival in Independence, Kansas in April of 2009.
